As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft-based solutions across a variety of industries and clients in Canada. This is a remote position open to residents across Canada. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform integration solutions across hybrid cloud/on-premise environments. Define and enforce best practices for API design, development, security, and lifecycle management. Work closely with enterprise architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into scalable and maintainable architecture. Conduct code reviews, technical workshops, and training sessions to mentor developers and promote reuse of APIs and assets. Manage the end-to-end API delivery lifecycle from strategy and design to implementation and governance. Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline setup, automation, and DevOps for integration deployments. Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support of MuleSoft applications. Contribute to the development of integration and data governance strategies and policies. Required Skills & Experience: 15+ years of overall IT experience in software engineering, system integration, or architecture. 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience including API-led connectivity and platform architecture. Expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Center, and Exchange. Strong understanding of integration patterns, ESB, microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture. Proficiency in Java, RAML, JSON/XML, REST/SOAP, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Maven, and deployment automation tools. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and present to stakeholders. MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Certified Platform Architect (preferred). Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MuleSoft certifications are a strong advantage.
